- Do not use Selleys No More Cracks Large Cracks & Holes on exterior timber surfaces; use a timber-specific product for wood.
- Where movement occurs, use a flexible filler like Selleys No More Gaps.
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of loose or powdery material.
- Mix the powder into a paste — typically around 4 parts powder to 1 part water; for deeper cracks use less water for a firmer mix.
- Once mixed, paste remains workable for approximately 30 minutes.
- Press filler into crack or hole with a filling blade or scraper and remove excess.
- Allow to dry for 5–6 hours (depending on humidity).
- Sand surface with medium-grade sandpaper once dry.
