Selleys Wet Area Ezi Press is ready to use – simply press the lever to apply – no caulking gun required.
Selleys Glass Silicone is an acetic acid curing 100% silicone, which has excellent adhesion to glass and has been especially formulated for glazing and aquarium construction.

Use in a well ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes
- Throughly clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with mineral turps.
- Cut tip off cartridge and cut nozzle at a 45° angle. Fit nozzle to cartridge. Place cartridge into caulking gun such as Selleys Light Speed caulking gun.
- Hold caulking gun at 45° angle and gun sealant ahead of nozzle ensuring product is pushed into joint.
- For a smooth finish, tool with a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean up before sealant skins in 5-10 minutes, with a cloth dampened with mineral turps.
- Sealant will cure in 72 hours. At this point any unneeded sealant can be removed by trimming with a knife, but avoid under-cutting the seal.
Limitations:
- #Aquariums: allow to cure for 7 days. Prior to usage, thoroughly wash out with water, drain and refill before introducing fish. Suitable for constructing and repairing small aquariums. Specialist design required for large tanks. Contact Selleys if unsure.
- Not recommended for use on concrete, cement products, zinc or metals containing copper.
- Not paintable. Complete painting 7 days prior to applying sealant.
- Not suitable for use on oily woods such as cypress, teak or cedar.
- Not recommended for use in below waterline applications, glass aquariums excepted. Use Selleys MarineFlex for below waterline applications.
- Not for mirrors. Use Liquid Nails Mirror Metal & Glass.
- Not suitable for use on roofs and gutters as it will cause corrosion. Use Selleys Roof and Gutter Silicone.
- Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon. Pre-test plastics before use.
- For neater joints, mask sides before applying sealant and remove tape before sealant skins.
- The depth of the sealant should be no more than 10mm in joints. To fill larger joints use a suitable backing rod (such as closed cell polyethylene foam or similar), leaving the gap depth no larger than half the width of the joint.
- When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant.
- Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins.

- Uncured product may be removed with mineral turps.
- Cured product can be removed with Selleys Silicone Remover or by trimming with a knife
