Selleys Fix & Go No More Mess Super Glue

1. Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, free of dust, and close fitting.
2. Hold tube upright and without applying pressure, pierce seal at end of tube by attaching nozzle and cap and turning clockwise.
3. Remove cap and apply a small amount of glue to one surface. Bring surfaces together and apply slight pressure. The product grabs within 10 seconds, depending on environmental conditions and materials to be bonded. Allow 30 minutes for sufficient bond strength for practical use. Bond will strengthen over 12 hours.
4. Wipe tip of tube, replace cap and store upright in a dry cool place.

Limitations:

• *Not suitable for bonding plastics such as Polypropylene and Polyethylene. Use Selleys All Plastic Fix.
• Not recommended for glass. Use Selleys Araldite Ultra Clear.
• Not suitable for repairing items that are in direct contact with hot liquids eg saucepans.
• Will not permanently bond materials containing alkaline elements.
• Has no gap filling properties therefore surfaces need to be a close fit.
• Not recommended for highly porous surfaces.
• May cause some leather to harden or discolour. Pre-test on inconspicuous area.
• Water resistant not water proof, therefore not suitable for surfaces that will be continually wet.

• Supa Glue can create a white residue on the surface of a material if the area is not well ventilated. Clean the affected area with acetone to remove residue. Take care to make sure of compatibility as acetone may damage sensitive materials.
• Excellent when used with other adhesives, as the temporary tack.
• After use, wipe excess product from the nozzle with a tissue dipped in acteone.
• In the event that fingers get stuck together, apply a solvent such as acetone to contact areas then wash off with water. Do not use solvents near eyes or open wounds.
• Since Supa Glue cures with moisture set times may be extended on very dry surfaces or under dry conditions.
• Supa glues cure more slowly when large amounts are used. For faster cure use sparingly.
• To remove excess from materials, it is recommended that the material be soaked in a solution of acetone and water (i.e. 3 parts acetone to 1 part water). Where soaking is not possible, try placing a piece of absorbent material (eg cotton wool) soaked in acetone on the excess for 5 to 10 minutes, topping up the acetone if it evaporates. Gently rub the surface with the material to remove the residues. Test the surface in an inconspicuous spot to ensure it is unaffected by acetone before attempting removal using this method.
• Do not squeeze tube before removing cap. Handle tube by plastic nozzle neck when opening and closing cap. This prevents pressurising tube which may force material into cap, preventing a tight seal after use.

• Uncured product may be removed with acetone.
• Cured product can be sanded and scraped.
• If on clothes or fabric, soak overnight and once the glue is softened, rub to remove.
