What You Need
How To
- Set yourself up with a bench to cut on.
- Using your hand saw, cut through your branch to create timber coasters that will act as your glass jar base. Around 15mm thick is ideal
- Apply Selleys Power Grip to the bottom of jar and press the glass onto the timber coaster for about 1 minute to allow maximum contact. The glue will set in approx. 3mins, but practical strength is usually achieved within 12 hours.
- Next, we’re dressing the jar with our ribbon and decorations. Place a small blob of glue on the glass to start, wrap the ribbon around the jar, and finish with some glue to fix the two ends of ribbon together.
- Fix on decorations using glue to finish.
