What You Need
- Selleys Aquadhere Interior
- Tooth Picks
- A variety of plastic or metal lids (e.g. jam jar lids, vegemite lids etc.)
- String or wool
- Hole Punch
- Knife
- Scissors
- Optional glitter
Step 1
Squeeze a thin layer of Selleys Aquadhere Interior into a lid, making a nice even cover over the lid.
Step 2
Put a few small drops of food colouring on the glue. Tip: Less is more! If you want to get really creative you might like to sprinkle some glitter on a couple of the lids
Step 3
Use a tooth pick to make patterns and swirls with the colours.
Tip: Try not to overdo this step as is doesn’t take much to go from pretty pattern to blurred blob.
Leave to dry for 3 days and watch how the colour patterns change over time.
Step 4
Once the glue is dry, gently remove the suncatchers from the lids.
Tip: You may need to run a knife around the edge of the lid, get mum or dad to help with this step!
Trim around the circle to tidy it up or get creative and cut into different shapes!
Step 5
You can now place the suncatchers straight on your glass window. They will easily stick on and easily peel right off again off.
