Accidentally used "No More Gaps Bathroom & Kitchen" to reseal tub instead of Wet Area Silicone Sealant

Accidentally used No More Gaps Bathroom & Kitchen to reseal tub instead of Wet Area Silicone Sealant. I'm an idiot and I grabbed the wrong tube at Bunnings. I used No More Gaps Bathroom and Kitchen instead of Wet Area Silicone Sealant to reseal the top edge of bathtub. Didn't realize my mistake until after I finished the job.The No More Gaps Bathroom and Kitchen says it's not recommended for prolonged contact with water. Should I re-do the job or is it something that will do the job but just might not as long as the recommended product.I guess what I'm asking is how important is it for me to re-do with the Wet Area Silicone Sealant.

As long as the sealant is not getting wet continually such as if the bath tub is also used as a shower it should be OK. Just allow it sufficient time to fully cure.No More Gaps Bathroom will withstand getting splashed a bit. It is often used to seal along the back of vanity benches where they meet the splashback. If the sealant is going to be getting wet regularly from a shower overhead then it will be best to dig it out and re-do the job with one of our Wet Area Silicone Sealants.
