Selleys Craft Glue is a water based PVA adhesive specially formulated for quick adhesion for craft work. The product is an off-white paste which is clear when dry.

Where can this product be used?

  • Re-attach book cover/spine or repair torn bindings
  • Craft/hobby work
  • On very porous or open weave fabrics extra adhesive may be required for optimum bond strength
  • Craft glue has limited water resistance
  • In very cold or damp conditions the adhesive is slower setting

How to use this product

  • Ensure surfaces to be joined are clean, dust and lint free.
  • Shake bottle well before use. Unscrew cap to expose nozzle.
  • Apply a thin coat of Selleys Craft Glue to one surface and press together.
  • Hold in position with light pressure for a few seconds, or longer for very absorbent surfaces.
  • Clean up excess glue quickly with a damp cloth. Wipe nozzle clean and replace cap after use.

Handy tips

  • On very porous surfaces applying a thin layer to each side and allowing it to soak in before applying a second layer to one side only may result in a stronger bond.
  • Glue can be resoftened by soaking item in warm water or by application of acetone.
  • Keep a box of Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes around for quick & effective clean up.

Safety tips

  • Avoid eye contact, if contact occurs flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice.

Storage and re-use

  • Clean up excess glue quickly with a damp cloth. Wipe nozzle clean and replace cap after use.
